My honeymoon continued to the beautiful city of London after Paris. We took a 2 hour Eurostar ride to meet the Queen =D The husband said he felt much closer to home in London because finally there were signages in a language that he knows how to read, LOL!

The Eurostar station in Paris. |
|
Paris' macaron is the best! The filling is thick and the crust is chewy! I miss Pierre Hermes' macarons so much! |
|
One last photo before we dozed off. |
|
Finally we reached London! |
|
Dim Sum lunch in Chinatown London! A much cleaner version of Petaling Street in Malaysia. |
|
I got angry because the husband kept taking photos and abandoned me. So he took a photo with me...sulking. |

The National Gallery. |
ST. PAUL CATHEDRAL
This historic church was consecrated in the year of 1708. That is like.... *press calculator* 305 YEARS!!!! O_0 OMG! This is where the royal wedding of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana was held too.

TOWER BRIDGE

It was so nice to sit on the bench by the River Thames watching the Tower Bridge. |
|
Over looking The Shard, the tallest building in the European Union. |
WESTMINSTER ABBEY
Since 1100, there have been at least 16 royal weddings at Westminster Abbey. One of them is the royal fairy tale dream wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton 2 years ago.
|
A must do in London, taking photo with the iconic British phone booth! |
|
The husband was furious because his face was blocked. HAHA! |
BIG BEN
The famous icon of London, need I say more? But to me, whenever I see Big Ben I see it being blown to pieces in V for Vendetta!
|
KABOOM!!!! |
Ok, chillax. It's just a movie. Big Ben is still standing tall in the city of London. But V for Vendetta is a great movie about a man's determination to bring down the government. To change a country we need drastic revolution.
Ok let's get back to the topic before ISA come banging down my door.
|
Lovely weather. So nice you can practically sit by the road side and soak in the sun without all the sweat. |
BUCKHINGHAM PALACE
Buckhingham Palace is the weekday home of the Queen and her family. Also famously known in the recent years where Prince William and Kate Middleton shared a public kiss on the balcony during their wedding.

LOL! Failed big time! |
MADAME TUSSAUDS LONDON
We had nothing to do after the city tour so we decided to visit the world's biggest wax museum, Madame Tussauds! It was so fun! And scary =_= There was an asylum in the museum called Chamber of Horrors. Judging from the name alone I didn't want to get in, plus hearing all the horrific screaming inside! But the husband said we paid so much we have to experience EVERYTHING in the museum T__T I survived the scary place sweating like a pig, I think I haven't been screaming like that for a very very long time. When I said I screamed, I really screamed like this:
I don't really remember how I got out and what is there to see because I basically had my eyes closed all the time! I held on to the husband so tight in the dark and they were some scary people jumping out from nowhere scaring the juice out of me. And not to forget they also chased us while screaming "I'm gonna touch you and kill you!". We ran like hell!
|
Imagine them chasing you in the dark. Damn scary! |
Poor husband had to lead me and a group of paranoid ang moh girls who kept screaming. I didn't know if I was scared of the scary people or the screaming girls =_=

My idol! I waited so long for my turn! Poor Angeline Jolie's hair was a mess! |
|
Victoria Beckham must have had a plastic surgery, it doesn't even look like her. |

Whoopi Goldberg really looked so real she was like looking at the camera O_o |

THE HOTEL
After a whole day of city tour and a visit to the wax museum, we finally called it a day and retreated back to our hotel at Holiday Inn Kensington Forum. The hotel was ok and the view was not bad too.
It was supposed to be the last day with the tour group. But we extended our trip to another week meeting up with the husband's relatives in London. I got sick the next day, waking up with headache and vomited once. I skipped breakfast in the hotel and lied on the bed the whole morning refusing to get up. I think it was because of the fresh seafood I had in Paris. They said we are supposed to eat fresh seafood with wine to prevent tummy upset. Unfortunately I didn't take the wine =__=
We met up with the relatives and walked around the city after popping 2 Paracetamol.
|
OMG! SO CUTE! Everything was built with Lego bricks! Look at the Queen's guard! |
BICESTER VILLAGE
The best itinerary in London was the S H O P P I N G! The husband's cousin sister drove hours to take us to Bicester Village. An outlet shopping centre with lots of luxury fashion shops at discounted price up to 60%!!!!! OMFG! Though you may can't find the latest designs here but most of them are off season and faulty designs like the printing, sticking or sewing was not perfect, but who cares when the price is slashed off 60%!!!
|
SAY WHAT?!!! |
Oh not to forget, his cousin sister's Audi broke down when we were on the way. We were stranded in the middle of the highway, bracing ourselves in the cold weather with nearly 10 huge eagles flying right on top of us. We called for taxi to come pick us up to continue our shopping mission while the cousin sister's husband was left behind with the car. So to commemorate his sacrifice and to make good use of the hassle we been through, I SHOPPED like there was no tomorrow!
|
SHOP AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
|
I was the happiest woman in Bicester Village. |
