Singapore!

Finally I'm back from Singapore and I spent a day off from work to rest my poor legs. They suffered tremendous torture for walking non stop for 2 consecutive days! I came home with 3 blisters on my foot and torn boots! The sole of my boots came off! Imagine the intensiveness of our shopping marathon! We bombarded nearly 5 shopping malls in 2 days, but the stuff there ain't cheap. Everything is still much more expensive than the stuff in Malaysia even though they are on sale. So overall it didn't really satisfy my shopping hunger because I kept holding myself back from buying them, knowing Malaysia sells cheaper. Oh well, I guess I have an excuse for another shopping spree XD

Alvin and I boarded the Tiger Airway airplane at 2.30pm. We were both shocked when we were greeted by an air attendant that I guess...in her 50s? I know Tiger Airline is Singapore's budget airline like Malaysia's Air Asia, but I didn't know they cut budget on hiring younger air attendants too.

We took a mere 45 minutes to reach Singapore. After 20 minutes to take off and the "buckle up" sign was off, I got up from my seat and went to the toilet. By the time I went back to my seat, the captain announced that they were getting ready to land already =_=

My bestie Sau Yeen greeted us at the airport. Singapore is famous for their convenient public transports (unlike Malaysia =_=) so we went everywhere by MRT and bus.

And so our first stop was Bugis Street. The place where you can find cheap clothes that make you look like a million dollar.

We went straight to shop with our backpack. Not a very good idea.

Imagine walking non stop with a heavy bag while you're only a petite little mouse without an inch of muscle =(
Oh that bag I was holding contained the brand new Charles & Keith bag I bought. It was so nice I couldn't wait to come back to Malaysia to find out if it's cheaper! What if Malaysia doesn't have right?!
Classic yet luxury looking!

When night falls we took a stroll at the Orchard Road looking at the bright lighted buildings.

Later on we went to the crowded and happening Clarke Quay to have a drink. Amazing night scenery there with pretty lights =)

The next day we got up early and off to Sentosa! You must be guessing that we were there for the rides and games, but you were wrong! My main objective was...

VICTORIA'S SECRET!!!!!!!!!!
The first thing we did when we reached Sentosa was searching the directory for the Victoria's Secret outlet. The shop was still closed when we were there. So we waited and waited....

The shop was a tad small, I browsed through the shop in a short 15 minutes. But I made a few rounds again browsing each and every thing available in the store. But everything is so expensive I can get cheaper online! But I couldn't go home empty handed without anything from Victoria's Secret, so Alvin bought me a cute keychain since I pouted complaining everything is so overpriced =P

SGD38 for this keychain. Alvin converted it to Ringgit Malaysia after we came home to Malaysia, he nearly fainted when he found out he actually paid RM89 for a keychain, hahaha!

Some stupid poses we made while strolling around.

We didn't make it to the Universal Studio =( I wanted to go in so much. But tickets are sold out everyday and we didn't have enough time. But I swear I'll lay my foot there one day!

We then went up to the Merlion look out point. Paid SGD8 each for an entrance ticket but the Merlion look out point was quite a disappointment. The view is nothing to shout about, all I could see was incomplete buildings going through construction and the Merlion's interior is boring. We only spent 10-15 minutes there.

The stupid photographer on duty made me posed like a lion =_=

It started to rain drizzly when we were on top of the Merlion's head. Thank God we brought umbrella!

I thought it was flooding outside Vivo City since there was a big puddle of yellowish water and people were playing in the water like what kids usually do when it is flooding. But Sau Yeen said the water has been there since the opening of Vivo City and it was on purpose. O_o Can't they make the big puddle of water look more attractive? Rather than giving people the impression that it's flooding?

The iconic place of Singapore.

Day view of Marina Bay Sands.

Night view of Marina Bay Sands.

And so we ended our day earlier as planned since our legs were screaming for help. We jetted back to Malaysia at 10pm.
