Dim Sum & Sushi Buffet.

Thanks to group buying websites nowadays, I can buy things half the normal price! If you haven't heard of Groupon yet, you must be still living in the medieval era. This was my first time buying from Groupon, a great deal for dim sum and sushi buffet at Holiday Villa Hotel, Subang Jaya. Alvin is a dim sum craze and I'm a sushi fan, so I grabbed this deal for both of us. The dim sum was ok, but the choices for sushi was so disappointed. They only have 4-5 choices of hand roll sushis =___=  And the restaurant's air conditioner system happened to be spoiled and we were forced to dine sweating, wtf! There were fans around but not enough for the bungeoning guests, it was full house. We literally had to fight for the fan!

Though the choices were limited and the temperature in the room was hot hot hot, but still we managed to fill our tummies to the max. We could barely move! Oh, and I love their mochi! But I couldn't make myself to stuff another one into my congested tummy anymore!

After having a big feast, it's a good idea to walk around to burn some calories. So we wandered around and camwhore lar!

Hahaha! Sorry I know this is obscene.

Let's see what other great deals are available at Groupon again =P

Rich Kid vs. Poor Kid

"I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth. If I want money, I need to work."

A quote by the character Juliet Sharp in Gossip Girl. I didn't know why I would watch this kind of chick flick at the first place =_= It talks about the complicated lives of a bunch of rich spoiled brats with gossips and backstabbing flying around. Like as though my life is not complicated enough ~_____~ But that line really struck me when I heard it in the telly.

I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth either. Yes, my parents paid for my college fee and bought me stuff that I wanted back in school days but I was never over loaded with material possessions. After I came out to the working world earning my own living, my parents completely stopped financing me. Whatever that I desire, I work my ass off to earn it.

Therefore it does set fire in my eyes when I see brats in their 20s capable of earning their own living, still burns their parents money. But what add more gasoline in the already blazing fire in my eyes are the parents just let them be. Well I guess they have the money for them to burn. But does it ever cross their mind that they won't be around forever? Sooner or later they will finish up all the money left behind. They can't possibly expect the kids to dig them out from the grave and ask for money. Right? *raise eyebrows*

Life is unfair, but I get it. That's what makes the world go round, nothing is fair. Some people can have all the expensive stuff and travel around the world without moving an inch of his/her ass. While some people need to work 2-3 jobs just to save up money to pay bills.

Well, it's nice to have a rich daddy. But it's even nicer to have your own achievement. Earn something with your own capability instead of relying on your folks like a useless leech. I believe no matter how unfair life can gets, somehow God look after each and every one of us in regardless of our background and financial status. Because rich kids can have all the expensive things in the world, but they will never ever own one thing that can't be bought with all the money their daddy has. It's called SELF DIGNITY.

All hail to mobile blogging!

This marks the first time of me posting a blog using a mobile phone. Talk about the convenience and comfort of lying on the bed and tapping away to blog wirelessly. Unlike the days of turning on the computer, plugging the USB and camera cables and sitting in front of the computer for hours to edit and type until my back ache like an old lady.
My Saturday was an ordinary one. Woke up blurry at 9am to kiss Alvin goodbye before he went to work and slept back about an hour later until I jumped out from the bed when I saw it was already 1pm! I felt like I just snoozed for an hour! Spent the rest of the afternoon at Fahrenheit 88 and Pavillion KL, went home for dinner with the FFIL* and here I am lounging on the couch blogging.
How's your Saturday so far?

*future family in law

Berita Terkini!

Everyone has been asking the same bloody question.

Yes, WE ARE ENGAGED!
Therefore I've officially moved in with Alvin and we are now in the midst of saving a fortune to get our own crib in 2013. So by then, you will hear wedding bells ringing! Harap maklum, sekian terima kasih!

p/s: If you wonder why 2013 and not 2012. You see, theories are saying 21 December 2012 will be the end of the world.

1. If the earth really blows up itself and we all die, end of story.
2. But what if we bought a house and the world go upside down inside out and we are still very alive? We will be brawling outside our wrecked house screaming "Ya Allah! Ya Allah!".
3. If we wait and the world really go haywire, at least we didn't throw our hard earned money down the hellhole.
4. If nothing happens after the presumed end of the world date, well...life goes on and wedding bells shall ring =)

Resurrection.

Today is September 22, 2011. Which means it has been 346 days since my last post. Yes, I'm still alive! I gave up blogging actually, in fact I deleted the blog. But as I was lying on my bed today browsing through other people's blog, I recalled the fun of blogging and how I used to love blogging so much. I somehow regretted deleting the very first blog which I spent so much time and effort doing it 5 years ago =( If I didn't make that move, now I would have been able to browse back and reminisce the naive me 5 years ago, how nostalgic.

But thank goodness the latest blogger has this function which allows you to undelete your blog =S Therefore I resurrect my second blog which I abandoned last year! And the bestest news is now we are able to blog with smartphones! Weeeee! We no longer need to snap pictures with camera, transfer it to computer, edit and blog. What a hassle! All we need to do now is snap pictures with smartphones like iPhone, edit the pictures with some photography apps and post! Talk about technology and convenience!

With all these canggih manggih help, hopefully I will keep blogging again =)

And just in case you have forgotten how I look like...

Change much over the year?
