Vibrance Kegel Device.

SPONSORED POST

I didn’t know how important Kegel  exercise is until I was invited to attend the Vibrance Kegel Device & Exercise event at MYoga, The Gardens last Saturday, in conjunction with the International Woman’s Day.

It’s certainly not easy to be a woman. Unlike woman back then where they stayed at home just by taking care of the family. Woman nowadays need to work like a man and also expected to take care of the family after work. You see, woman go through a lot of stages in life. First, we have our period, our body changes. Then we get pregnant and our body changes further after that. Lastly, we have menopause and our body changes drastically. ESPECIALLY the southern area where we have quite a lot of activity every month and perhaps every day *if you know what I mean* It’s even more drastic when we need to give birth. As what people describe it, it’s like a huge train trying to squeeze its way out of a mini tunnel *horror*

Therefore, we need to give a lot of TLC to our southern area. Hence, the Kegel exercise! Here is the importance of Kegel exercise which I found pretty amusing *start doing Kegel right away*

1. STRENGTHEN PELVIC FLOOR MUSCLE

2. BETTER SEX LIFE (Have I gotten your attention yet?)

Improve your enjoyment of love making and the sensations of your sexual response. Women with
strengthened pelvic floor muscles are more likely to be orgasmic and have a more satisfying sex life, woohoo!

3. HEALTHY PREGNANCY (Attention to all mothers and mothers-to-be)

Support a healthy pregnancy, successful birth and minimise any post-partum problems. For pregnant women this exercise helps the body to cope with the increasing weight of the baby. Healthy, fit muscles will also recover more steadily after the birth.

4. BETTER BLADDER CONTROL

Minimising problems with urine leakage or 'urinary stress incontinence'
No more asking for the toilet every 20 minutes while you’re at the highway and pissing off your boyfriend / husband =P

5. TONE ABDOMEN AND SUPPORT SPINE, PREVENT BACKACHE (Need I say more?)

Starting a family is in my agenda in the years ahead, so I’m thankful that Vibrance opened up my eyes about Kegel exercise. If you’re a noob like me on how to do Kegel exercise, because you might be just squeezing your butt cheeks instead of your pelvic floor muscle. That’s why you need this Kegel device!

It looks like a vibrator but it is NOT a vibrator even though it vibrates =_= (am I convincing enough?) Well, you just need to insert the sheath into your southern region and if you’re squeezing the right muscle, the device will vibrate! It’s rubbery and soft so you don’t have to worry about feeling uncomfortable. All you need to do is holding it for 5 seconds and letting go for 5 seconds for 24 sets. After that, do another 24 sets of holding on for 2 seconds and letting go for 2 seconds. The process takes just about 5 minutes! Do it twice a day, once in the morning and once at night, that’s all for healthy pelvic floor muscle! How easy!

The event started off with an hour of yoga. It was fun! I learned a few poses on how to ease menstrual cramp and backache. I’m so doing it because I have severe menstrual cramp every month =(

Look who came with me! Good thing is to be shared! Exercise is 10 times the fun when you drag your crazy friend along!

With the rest of the attendees =) Thanks Nuffnang for the photo!

After an hour of yoga, we proceeded to hear about the benefits of Kegel exercise and the device by Vibrance.

We also had a motivational talk about self-branding by KD Ismalasari.

We were given a stack of sheets to fill in about how we would like to brand ourselves. This was how Sharon branded me.  All of us had to share what we wrote and everyone laughed when I said I’m a narcist LOL.

Sometimes it’s good to do some self-discovery/motivating exercise like this, so we can know more about ourselves and find ways to improve =)

Oh! We were given a box full of rolled up papers with motivational quotes. How sweet =)

Audrey, well known as Four Feet Nine, the famous blogger in Malaysia also shared about her experience with Vibrance Kegel Device after the birth of her son. She is sooooooooo tiny you wouldn’t believe she just given birth OMG. Even with my short height of 5 feet 2 I look like a giant next to her O_o

Door gifts! Woohoo! I’m hugging the pillow now while typing this post =) And we got 3 days pass to MYoga! Thank you Vibrance!
