My 26th.

Jesus gerebus! Sorry for the lack of updates. Were so caught up with the holidays, birthday, Chinese New Year, vacations, etc. But everything is back to normal now. Back to reality, back to work, pfffttt!!! Time to buckle up, gear on and fight for the months ahead until another holiday!

I shall make it up to my dear blog (I mentioned blog and not you because I might not have any readers #forever alone) by blogging all the eventful events during my absence asap!

First of all, let's talk about my birthday. I had a great one this year. My friends took time from their busy schedule to celebrate with me. I have no idea why, it's so tough to call my friends out. They are like the Prime Minister. I need to book them in advance =_= Except Baby M, she will be there for me with just one phone call *love*

I got to fulfill my wish to club for my birthday this year. I always wondered how it feels like to club during birthday. And I had it, it was not good =_= I mean I enjoyed it but the aftermath was horrible. I got drunk and lied on the bed like a dead fish refusing to go shower. The next day I woke up with a massive hangover. No more club on birthday! No more! Once is enough!

This year I got to celebrate with my family too. It has been years since I last celebrated with them. Thankfully my birthday is near Chinese New Year, therefore we had a belated dinner.

My company sponsors cake for the birthday baby of the month. January is mine, so I got to choose my favourite chocolate mousse cake! But since the majority in the office is male, I had to cut and serve them, SEXIST!!!! And I ended up eating just a small portion of the cake *uwehhh!!!!!!* 

Guys are so boring. They are so passive, even singing birthday song sounds like a dread =_= With the lights turned off and their horrible singing, it was like a funeral, but very funny =P

Don't expect them to sing like Adele or Beyonce.

And probably I was too excited, I sliced the cake before making any wishes or blowing the candle =S Process reversed.

I was laughing so hard when my colleague, Chan Howe laughed at me.

And most of all, the most precious birthday. It happened on my birthday's eve, Alvin and I went out to meet up with Manda to take my birthday present. When we went home after counting down my big day, I saw a tiny birthday card on my make up table. And after that I found a wrapped present on the floor. The sneaky man went to buy the Beats Harajuku Lovers earplug himself to surprised me. But it was the surprise later that night that brought me to tears.

When we were ready to go to bed, he asked me to open the wardrobe and I found a huge pink envelope. It was this handmade giant card. All the details and craftsmanship are so detailed, I could see how much time and effort he put to make this. I cried upon seeing it, it was so sweet =..) The tiny card was just a starter, the earplug was the main course and the giant card was the dessert. The best main course on the planet! Sweetness overdose XD

Did I mention that I FINALLY bought the Samsung Galaxy Note?! I ditched Digi and bought it under contract with Celcom instead. Digi is forever telling me no stock. I'm impatient and I hate to wait. When I want something I will want it NOW. Waiting for 2-3 months are enough. Once I found out the phone is still available in one of the Celcom outlet in Bangsar, I flew there right on the next day and WALA! GOT IT! It's  a birthday present from me to myself =)

2011 Birthday Wishlist.

Never in my life have I tortured my brain to think of my birthday wishlist. Most of the things I really want are darn expensive (please refer to my Christmas wishlist). But since this list is for my friends and I don't think they will buy me an iMac or a Miu Miu bag, therefore I used 2 days to think of the fairly priced things that I want. I surfed online and flipped through magazines. It's like doing research for some big project.

2011 Top 10 Achievement.

I came across someone's blog and she listed out the things she did and achieved for the year 2011. I think it's very inspiring. It gives you a bigger picture of your passed year so you have a better idea of what to achieve in the new year. I shall do one too though it's a little too late now since it's already the 5th day of 2012. But never mind! *syiok sendiri*

*staring blankly at the computer screen*

...after few minutes.

1. I had a pay raise.

2. Done a few big projects, all managed by myself. #forever alone

3. My parents finally bought a new house at my hometown and I finally have a room of my own!
And it's PINK!

4. Bought my first Burberry bag.

5. Moved in with Alvin to go to the next level in our relationship.

6. Curled and straighten my hair in the same year.

7. Learned to love and accept the person for who she/he is because everyone is different.

8. Had an ugly fight with my bestie but learned to forgive and forget because our friendship is more important.

9. Gained a lot of weight ~_____~

10. First time took nearly 12 hours to drive back from Penang to KL.

Ok, not a very extravagant year like other people, going to exotic countries and buying flashy cars. But it has been quite a fulfilling year for me, in terms of my maturity and emotion. Our lives don't have to be all about the glamour and material, as long as we live each and every single day doing something right and happy, it will be worth living even though our lives are short.

The horror of perverts!

Ok nothing much to do in the office and I’m friggin’ sleepy! I can’t possibly sleep in the office, no way. Therefore I shall spend my time blogging! Let’s talk about...horror stories! I heard quite a few pretty scary stories from my friends but as for myself, I have not much scary encounters *touch wood*

Horror stories are not necessary about ghosts. It can be anything that scared the shit out of you. Let me see…let’s talk about the horror of guys’ desperation! It can be real scary (no pun intended to the male species) but it’s true, especially perverts.

1. THE OTAKU PERVERT

I know this guy who opens a shop that rents manga (Japanese comic). He is a Taiwanese so he speaks fluent mandarin. I knew him through my ex so after I broke up with my ex, he called me (he got my namecard). He said he saw me at a shopping mall some time ago and complimented the way I dressed.

He started to ask me all sorts of weird questions like if I’m ok with the idea of one night stand and what kind of lingerie I like. WTF!!!! I was obliged to entertain his one night stand topic, just told him my thoughts about it and when he asked me about what kind of bra I like, I totally flipped. I told him my boss just came back and I need to get back to work (obviously I lied). He didn’t call me again.

But after a year, during Chinese New Year as I was putting on my make-up for the celebration. My phone rang and I answered. When I heard his voice, I stoned! I entertained his general talking again and suddenly the line got cut off, THANK YOU MAXIS! YOUR LOUSY RECEPTION HAS SERVED IT'S PURPOSE! IT SAVED MY LIFE!!! After a few minutes he called me again, but hell no I didn’t pick up even he called quite a few times.

2. THE STRANGER WHO RAPED GIRLS ON THE PHONE

Speaking about perverts asking me about lingerie. I remember when I was in primary school, I received a call from a stranger. He told me he was doing some survey and asked if I have time to answer a few simple questions. Being the super naïve me that time, I answered all his weird questions like what type of bra I usually wear, the color, cotton or lace. Suddenly he started to breathe very hard on the phone, almost like panting.  That time I had no idea what he was doing but I felt disgusted so I hang up. Now thinking back about it I felt so horrible! I felt like I was raped emotionally! OMGWTFMAMABBQ!!!

The next time I receive perverted calls again, I shall do this!

3. THE PSYCHO WHO ESCAPED

Back at the days at high school, I used to wait for transport back home behind my school, right in front of a budget hotel. One day while I was waiting alone as usual, a man approached me. I saw him wearing a tag on his t-shirt but I couldn't see properly. He asked if I was waiting for mommy to pick me up. I obliged and said yes and looked away. He then asked if I want to follow him to somewhere. I got shocked and took a few steps back. He came forward and kept pestering me to follow him. I was so afraid.

Then I saw 2 of my classmates passed by, I gave them the eye signal but they just looked at me and walked away!!! Mother of God!!! They were so dumb! *slaps forehead* He wouldn't give up and kept following me wherever I walked. Suddenly a lady peeked out from the budget hotel and asked me to go in. After I stepped into the hotel, the lady asked me to escape through the back of the hotel. Holy cow! NO! What if the guy waited for me at the back and catch me! My transport finally arrived and I dashed out of the hotel passing by the crazy guy and jetted off.

On the next day at school, the teacher announced on stage that the back gate of the school will be closed for safety purposes and students were not allowed to wait for transport at the back anymore. I think the hotel people reported it to the school authority about my incident. I heard that the guy was a patient from the local psychiatric hospital and got escaped. No wonder he was wearing a tag! If I was so stupid and followed him, I would have been dead. Like the girl in "The Lovely Bones" where the girl followed a man to his hidden place and got raped and killed.

Nice movie, girls should watch this.

4. THE PAEDOPHILE

but this is funny!

This happened when I was 18 and I was on the way alone to Penang to look for my sis. I think I dropped my bus ticket and the guy behind me picked it up and returned it to me. I thanked him for his generosity (mommy taught me to have good manners).

While I was waiting for my sis and brother in law to come pick me from the station, that same guy approached me and started a conversation with me. Talking about general stuff like where I’m from and who was I waiting for. After some small chit chat, we exchanged phone number. I thought "Just give it to him and he will leave me alone". So he did.

But on that same night, he called and asked me out. Being a bit reluctant and still obliging him, I told him to call me again tomorrow. But the next day I went out all day with my sis and, left the phone in the house (on purpose) ;P Once I reached home and checked my phone, if I’m not mistaken I think I had more than 30 missed calls. Mother of God, this guy is persistent!

The next day when I was on my way back, he called me again. I told him I left my phone in the house and went out the whole day. Again he still had the balls to ask me out again, but too bad I was in the bus on the way home. Shocking enough, he asked me to go Genting Highlands with him. So I asked him, what are we going to do there? He said we will just hang around there, nothing else. I might have good manners and entertain all his bullshit, but I wasn’t naïve at all. Thanks to my mom who always told me stories about girls being raped because of their stupidity. I vaguely remember what I told him after that, but he never calls me again since then.

I have another paedophile story at bus station too, but that was not very interesting so I shall skip that.

Please don't think I only attract strange people and perverts =___= I have my fair share of courtship from normal guys too. I just think these stories are interesting enough to be shared with you all, especially girls out there. Please grow some brains and don't follow some unknown strangers to places. Unless you're willing to get laid. Else, the consequences will damage you. 

Let go of the old, and give way to the new.

Happy New Year! This marks the first post of the year 2012!

How was your new year celebration? After years of experiencing sardine cramped and hell-like hot countdown, this year I chose to have a quiet one. Just meeting up with my friends and went home earlier. They actually invited me to join them clubbing, but...clubbing on New Year's eve is like suicide! So guess what, I watched the fireworks from the balcony while hanging the laundry (true signs I'm getting old) =____=

I saw many of my friends had a bad 2011. Many of them had a bad break up. Well, let bygone be bygone. Let all the bad things be washed away together with 2011. And give way for new things to come in this new year.

So I mentioned about it and my boss heard. He said I can buy a new one, courtesy of the company! Woohoo! Don't jealous, that's what you get when you are a good staff  #LIKEABOSS

I sacrificed my RM400 heels and bought 2 new pairs of heels from Charles & Keith worth RM280. Am I too kind to my boss or I'm just plain stupid =__= Oh well, the Guess heels was a gift from my ex, I couldn't be bothered. Just like the old Chinese saying goes, new things won't come if I don't let go of the old ones.

If we forever hold on to the things in the past (like a dinosaur, according to Alvin), we will forever be stuck in the past together with the fading memories and not move on with our lives (like a caveman, according to me).

Sometimes when we lose something that we love dearly, maybe it's a sign from God that something better is on it's way. Everything happens for a reason. God has His plans for us. We just need to embrace with an open heart.

I've been seeing my friends posting their new year resolutions on Facebook for the past few days. Don't you think it's kinda cliche? Making all sorts of resolution on New Year's eve and totally forget about it after the clock struck 12 =_____= Well, let's just join the norm and make a resolution too. My new year resolution is to stay alive if anything happens to world. Well, you see, it's 2012!!

Nobody knows if the world will really ends on the 21st December 2012, but even if it does, we still have a year to live. While we are still very alive now, let's just live our lives fullest everyday for now, shall we =)

For this last 2 days of 2011, let's take time and reminisce the passed 1 year. Did you do something memorable? Achieve something magnificent? Been somewhere unforgettable? My 2011 has been a crazy ride. Mainly because of my job. I have a love hate relationship with my it. Though I whine and cry when I'm in the midst of projects, but once over, I feel proud of what I did. My portfolio has flourished so much, it's unbelievable. If you ask me if it's a fruitful 2011, I'm going to say it is =)

So 2012 is here, bring it on!

Pardon me, I'm very obsessed with 9gag lately XD We practically talk 9gag language in the office.

On another note, I finally curled my hair! To welcome the anticipated 2012! If the world doesn't end, I have a feeling it's gonna be an awesome year! Like my hair! ^^

Having curly hair is such a high maintanence =__= Everytime I finish showering I will need to blow dry it and curl them with hair serum like sausages. The next day when I wake up before going out, I will need to rake the sausage-like curls with my fingers and set them with hair spray. GAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Such hassle, bahhh!!!!

Christmas wishes.

I haven't been blogging for a month! It has been a hell-ish 2 months. Work is draining me, physically and emotionally. The stress and work load really had the best of me. I suffered anxiety, stress and insomnia =( Can you imagine a designer doing all the designs for all 4 events in 1 month? I literally felt like Ip Man, 一个打十个!!!

I couldn't even feel the Christmas atmosphere =( I love Christmas, I like the bling blings and jing jings. But because work overcame me, I was blinded from Christmas. But thank goodness all the events are finally over. I can have a good rest for some time until another war comes again next year T__T

And since I've been such a good girl this year, working my ass off....so dear Santa, please grant my wishes. I'm not asking for a lot of things, just these few...

Actually I can get most of the stuff on the Christmas tree already, but it seems to have so many obstacles in between.

1. Samsung Galaxy Note - Out of Stock T___T
2. Dr Dre Beats Headphone - Need to wait for confirmation to ship from US (cheaper ma)
3. SKII Festive Set - I won it from contest! ^^ Just need to take leave for a day to collect it, they only allow pick up on weekdays during working hour, KNS!
4. Apple iMac - I planned to buy with my bonus, but bonus seems so far far farrrrrrrrrrrrrr away now =(
5. Burberry Smoked Check Tote - Hmm...I have no news about this yet. Hopefully Santa will give it to me.

The most I want now is the phone!!!! I need a new bloody phone now!!! People are laughing at my old school press phone T____T and it is giving me problems!!! It hangs, it auto shuts down, it won't receive calls! Bloody hell it has it's own temper!

As for the SKII festive set. It was really miraculous! I wanted Alvin to buy it for me for Christmas, but everywhere ran out of stock. And we have to go to Pulau Pangkor during Chinese New Year, so Alvin said he needs to save some money for my birthday (which is in less than a month). Hence I can only choose either one, so I gave up the SKII =(

But few months back, I took part in the SKII Miracle Maker contest in Facebook and made a wish. During that time, Bangkok was flooding and lives were taken away. So I wished for "No more flood, earth quake, volcano eruption and hurricane. Peace to the only earth we have." I've totally forgotten about this after submitting my wish. Until few days ago someone called me to say that I've won a set of SKII Festive Set! Everyone wished for beautiful skin with SKII, so selfish. I was the only selfless one who wished for peace to  the world. I should have won the grand prize. Cis!

But nonetheless, when you wish with a sincere heart, it will really come true! *JOY TO THE WORLD*
