Latest Obsession.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm actually addicted to the supernatural teen drama,
The Vampire Diaries!

It's yet another soppy cheesy love story between a human and a vampire trapped in a condemned and forbidden relationship, just like the Twilight Saga. But AT LEAST The Vampire Diaries has pretty people like the HOT HOT HOT Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley!!!

Comparing to...

The scruffy looking Robert Pattinson that doesn't wash his hair for days, eewww....

And please, Kristen Steward and Robert Pattinson can't act at all. I can hardly feel the chemistry between them in the movie, they both look like they're out of breath while talking, especially Kristen Steward. Comparing to the leading lady in The Vampire Diaries, Nina Dobrev, she can act wayyyyyy better than Kristen Steward and she even look wayyyyyy better.

Even though the drama doesn't have nice computer animated graphics and effects like Twilight, but their story line is much better and they have nice soundtracks. And I just love the chemistry between Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) in the drama. Though I prefer Damon (Ian Somerhalder) because he plays a very sexy villain with his villain-ish eyes...

*weak knees*

I was so happy when I read in the gossip column that rumors are flying around that Ian and Nina are dating. They make a very cute couple!

Pretty girl + Hot dude = Match made in heaven!

But rumors will always be rumors. There are no proves and made out of zero evidences. And my eyes nearly popped out from their sockets when I saw this...

Ian is currently dating this woman and it's 100% proven with this picture of him holding her hand. This potato face over the cute pretty Nina Dobrev?!!!! Seriously! WTF?!

I know, I'm no longer a high school teenage girl anymore. I'm a career lady with plans and bright future ahead. Why am I fan girl-ing over some celebrities and their private lives?!

Girls will always be girls, we can't resist hot guys!

KILL MEH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Singapore!

Finally I'm back from Singapore and I spent a day off from work to rest my poor legs. They suffered tremendous torture for walking non stop for 2 consecutive days! I came home with 3 blisters on my foot and torn boots! The sole of my boots came off! Imagine the intensiveness of our shopping marathon! We bombarded nearly 5 shopping malls in 2 days, but the stuff there ain't cheap. Everything is still much more expensive than the stuff in Malaysia even though they are on sale. So overall it didn't really satisfy my shopping hunger because I kept holding myself back from buying them, knowing Malaysia sells cheaper. Oh well, I guess I have an excuse for another shopping spree XD

Alvin and I boarded the Tiger Airway airplane at 2.30pm. We were both shocked when we were greeted by an air attendant that I guess...in her 50s? I know Tiger Airline is Singapore's budget airline like Malaysia's Air Asia, but I didn't know they cut budget on hiring younger air attendants too.

We took a mere 45 minutes to reach Singapore. After 20 minutes to take off and the "buckle up" sign was off, I got up from my seat and went to the toilet. By the time I went back to my seat, the captain announced that they were getting ready to land already =_=

My bestie Sau Yeen greeted us at the airport. Singapore is famous for their convenient public transports (unlike Malaysia =_=) so we went everywhere by MRT and bus.

And so our first stop was Bugis Street. The place where you can find cheap clothes that make you look like a million dollar.

We went straight to shop with our backpack. Not a very good idea.

Imagine walking non stop with a heavy bag while you're only a petite little mouse without an inch of muscle =(
Oh that bag I was holding contained the brand new Charles & Keith bag I bought. It was so nice I couldn't wait to come back to Malaysia to find out if it's cheaper! What if Malaysia doesn't have right?!
Classic yet luxury looking!

When night falls we took a stroll at the Orchard Road looking at the bright lighted buildings.

Later on we went to the crowded and happening Clarke Quay to have a drink. Amazing night scenery there with pretty lights =)

The next day we got up early and off to Sentosa! You must be guessing that we were there for the rides and games, but you were wrong! My main objective was...

VICTORIA'S SECRET!!!!!!!!!!
The first thing we did when we reached Sentosa was searching the directory for the Victoria's Secret outlet. The shop was still closed when we were there. So we waited and waited....

The shop was a tad small, I browsed through the shop in a short 15 minutes. But I made a few rounds again browsing each and every thing available in the store. But everything is so expensive I can get cheaper online! But I couldn't go home empty handed without anything from Victoria's Secret, so Alvin bought me a cute keychain since I pouted complaining everything is so overpriced =P

SGD38 for this keychain. Alvin converted it to Ringgit Malaysia after we came home to Malaysia, he nearly fainted when he found out he actually paid RM89 for a keychain, hahaha!

Some stupid poses we made while strolling around.

We didn't make it to the Universal Studio =( I wanted to go in so much. But tickets are sold out everyday and we didn't have enough time. But I swear I'll lay my foot there one day!

We then went up to the Merlion look out point. Paid SGD8 each for an entrance ticket but the Merlion look out point was quite a disappointment. The view is nothing to shout about, all I could see was incomplete buildings going through construction and the Merlion's interior is boring. We only spent 10-15 minutes there.

The stupid photographer on duty made me posed like a lion =_=

It started to rain drizzly when we were on top of the Merlion's head. Thank God we brought umbrella!

I thought it was flooding outside Vivo City since there was a big puddle of yellowish water and people were playing in the water like what kids usually do when it is flooding. But Sau Yeen said the water has been there since the opening of Vivo City and it was on purpose. O_o Can't they make the big puddle of water look more attractive? Rather than giving people the impression that it's flooding?

The iconic place of Singapore.

Day view of Marina Bay Sands.

Night view of Marina Bay Sands.

And so we ended our day earlier as planned since our legs were screaming for help. We jetted back to Malaysia at 10pm.

but best friends stay together no matter what!"

S for Saturday and Sunday. S for Singapore!

Can't hardly wait for this weekend to come!
I'll be granting my bestie's wish to visit her at Singapore, the Lion City!

Meeting up, shopping, shopping, shopping and lots of shopping!
The first ever Victoria's Secret in Asia is launched in Singapore and I am SOOOOOOOOO going to attack it!

The sky has turned cold, the rain has fallen and you are gone
It’s clear now, I've lost the one I loved most
The fallen leaves is floating on the surface of the lake and fallen asleep
Wanting to let go, but can’t let go, tears are falling
Take a look, look, but you can’t see
I pretend that the past isn’t important, but realized I can’t do it

After bidding farewell, I realized I can never see you again
I cannot just lose your smile like this
The lipstick left on the corner of the table, but both of us couldn't find it
Why not you try to stand in my shoes

After saying goodbye, I realized I can never see you again
Can I just hold in my tears like this and not let them fall
You promised to be with me till we’re old, but where to find the eternity
It's good even we can embrace again just for a second

Your smile, your kindness, revolves endlessly in my mind
My hand cannot forget the warmth of your hand
My heart is shattered all over
Couldn’t find back the heartbeat from the past
Stuck in the past I am powerless to escape

Broken.

It is kind of sad when a friendship comes to a point where you feel so tired to put anymore effort to it. Friendship is easier to maintain during school and college time. We see our friends everyday and have fun together at school/college. We chase the same dreams together and go through the phases of life together. But when we come out to the real world, we go our own separate ways; have our own career, our own dreams and our own partners. It takes so much effort to stay connected and to remain the friendship through the changes that occur in our lives.

We don’t have to see our friends everyday to make sure the friendship stays intact. In fact, I find this quote very meaningful and true.

"True friendship isn't about being inseparable, it's about being separated & nothing changes"

I have a friend whom I knew since we were 5. We’ve been best friends since then. After 19 years, through all the life pressures, trials and environmental changes that we’ve been through in our lives, we still stay as best friends. Though we might not see each other often like we used to and we were separated by different countries, but I can never feel awkward or something is keeping us apart when we meet up. It feels like how we were used to be in the past, getting together, talking about our lives and gossips.

But there are friendships that you can’t maintain no matter how hard you try. People change, time change, everything changes, even friendship. It hurts when your friend never bother to ask about your well being anymore, never contact you unless you’re useful to them, have nothing in common with you anymore and not making any effort to maintain the friendship. It hurts even more when your friend says hurtful things to you and act so selfish. When your patience has reached to its boiling point, you will come to the decision of giving up. If it has changed, tears and heartache won’t mend back the broken string. It will always be torn.

True friends are those that you can have fun with, laugh with, make stupid jokes with without any hard feelings and be there for you when you’re at your tough times, even forgive and forget unconditionally after involving in some conflicts.

If none of them applies, then the friendship is no longer worth keeping. It’s sad, but life goes on.
